Notes from the artist:
Blenheim IF L8665 BQ-A of 600 sqd hit in both engines by Gerhard Schophel roared over the house and crashed into the sea with the loss of all the crew. In doing so saved the lives of the people of Ramsgate at the sacrifice of their own. Parts of the Blenheim can be seen in both museums.
